The weeks were packed. But everything gradually found its pace and the days unfolded without feeling overwhelming. A good stretch of days.

I had a trip to Chennai and stayed awake for nearly 48 hours to send my mom off to the UK. Not ideal, but sharing my plan with GPT helped me pace food and water, so I stayed steady. My mom is now with her granddaughter, and that makes it feel worth the trouble. I met Priya after ages, and we spent a few hours walking, talking, and taking photos. I also squeezed in a quick 15-minute catch-up with Naren before rushing to my train.

Back in Bangalore, I met Kaushik again twice in the same week which felt unexpectedly nice. We took a long walk through Indiranagar, let the conversation drift, had good food, and ended up having black tea after years. It felt like a small, happy calm returning asusual.

Work also moved forward: I met Ashwin to plan next steps, have been catching up with Jagan regularly on both work and non-work things, and also met Pavi. The commute has definitely been tiring, but things will likely slow down now.

I finally wrapped up the sketches for Zero Maintenance today and sent them to RK. It felt like a big relief, and I really want to be more proactive and stick to my timelines going forward.

My apartment celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava , so we went downstairs, ate, shopped for clothes with Tars. I managed to also squeeze hands-on time with piano this week. The days have felt more refreshing now that the constant Chennai commute has paused. I still have one more trip coming up, but at least there should be a few weeks of breathing room before that.

This week episode of Pluribus have held my interest so far. Speaking of which my YouTube recommendations have become much cleaner ever since I stopped watching the news. It is mostly about learning something or just music videos for now.

I’ve fallen out of my usual note-taking habit, partly because my Notes app feels cluttered and Obsidian has not been working well for me with its limitations. I want to record voice notes as most often I get thoughts during commute or walk, but I do not want to rely on any dedicated memo app for now. I am open to options.

Overall, this has been one of the few good weeks I have had in recent times.
