This is the last post of the year. I’m happy that I’ve been running this blog for almost two years now. I’ll be writing a similar journey post for 2025 soon.

  • Tars is recovering well. We got his stitches removed today, and after almost 20+ days, he’s finally back to jumping around without any bandages. Most of this month revolved around taking care of him.
  • I also moved away from AWS and wrote a post about that transition. Super happy and relieved about it.
  • Necessity is the mother of action too, not just invention. I recently realised I’m spending too much on subscriptions. Yash and I often talked about how hard it is to even see them all in one place. After getting an SMS about a Wix renewal today, I finally looked it up and found that SiHub lets you view and manage card subscriptions for few of the banks, which felt like a small win.
  • I randomly came across a blog post reviewing the year by TRMNL, a product that offers an e-ink display where you can show almost anything. It sent me down an interesting rabbit hole.
  • Thej introduced me to walkman.land. It felt less like a product and more like a reminder to slow down and stay with one album, one track, one moment at a time. It feels aligned with many of the things I’ve been thinking about lately like intentional tools, fewer subscriptions, and building systems that respect human pace rather than fight it.
  • One of my recent posts attracted some unwelcome attention, and it made me realise that I need to work on how I communicate my thoughts and ideas better. Improving that will be one of my goals for 2026.
  • I’ve also been helping RK with web hosting recently. It was surprisingly fun, especially with Claude offering 2X tokens as year end bonus.
